Seven oils. Read the bottle.
Each oil does one job. The list below is what's in the bottle and what each one does.
Quiets inflammation at the follicle. Thymoquinone is the active compound. Sometimes labeled as black seed or nigella oil.
Used across India and the Middle East for skin and hair.
High in vitamin C. Adds shine and supports the keratin layer of the hair shaft.
Pressed from Indian gooseberry. A core ingredient in Indian hair oiling.
Stimulates blood flow to the scalp. A 2015 trial measured similar hair count to minoxidil at six months.
Used in Mediterranean and Indian hair care for centuries. The smell wakes you up.
Cools the scalp. Menthol opens surface circulation and supports follicle activity.
A common Ayurvedic ingredient for itch and dandruff.
Thickens each strand. Coats the hair to lock in moisture and reduce breakage.
Pressed from castor seeds. A staple of Indian hair care for generations.
Sinks into the scalp for deep moisture. The carrier base for most Ayurvedic blends.
Pressed from sesame seeds, used in Ayurvedic preparations for centuries.
Delivers omega-3 fatty acids that support flexible, less brittle hair shafts.
Cold-pressed from flax. A newer addition to the traditional Ayurvedic palette.
How to use it.
A little goes a long way.
-
Section your hair
Part it into four to six sections. Cleaner sections mean better coverage.
-
Fill the dropper
Squeeze, fill, release.
-
Apply to the scalp
Drop oil along each part line. Focus on areas where hair is thinning.
-
Massage
Use your fingertips for two to three minutes. Pause on thinning spots.
-
Wait
Leave on for 30 minutes to one hour. A shower cap helps.
-
Wash
Shampoo, condition as usual, style how you normally do.
A shower cap during the wait keeps the oil warm and your pillowcase clean.
What customers are saying.
Sind launches with a small batch. The first 100 bottles ship next week. Reviews from early customers will live here once they come in.
Common questions.
Twice a week, one bottle lasts six to eight weeks. A few drops covers your scalp.
Yes. Apply to the skin under the beard. Massage in for two minutes. The same oils that wake scalp follicles work for facial hair.
Yes. The oils are gentle and don't strip color. Apply before your wash day so the shampoo lifts any excess.
Earthy and herbal. Rosemary and peppermint lead. A warm sesame and amla base finishes. No synthetic fragrance.
All seven oils come from India, cold-pressed. We mix and bottle in small batches in Santa Monica, California.
Talk to your OB before adding anything new during pregnancy or nursing. Essential oils including rosemary and peppermint are typically advised against in the first trimester. If your provider clears it, the application stays the same.
